Ginkgo, ginseng, L-arginine, zinc.

Topicals for local circulation, in about twenty minutes. Capsules for the slower, cumulative route.

One is measured in minutes. The other in weeks.

Almost every question we get is really this question. Here is the honest version, side by side.

Tonight

10–20 minutes

Applied before. Works locally, and wears off by morning.

Ginkgo, ginseng and aloe on the skin, working on local circulation and sensation.

  • Effect the same evening, not the same month
  • Nothing to remember on the days you do not need it

Over the weeks

4–8 weeks

Taken daily. Builds for as long as you keep taking it.

L-arginine, zinc, selenium and taurine — the precursors your body uses to widen blood vessels.

  • Cumulative, so it asks for consistency rather than timing
  • Start on a small pack before committing

Both routes are the same story: blood flow.

On the skin

Ginkgo biloba and ginseng have long been associated with stimulating blood flow. Applied topically, they act where they are put, which is why the effect arrives quickly and does not last past the night.

Ginkgo · Ginseng→local circulation→same night

Through the bloodstream

L-arginine is a precursor to nitric oxide, a molecule that dilates blood vessels and may improve blood flow. Zinc, selenium and taurine support the same pathway. Nothing here works on the first evening.

L-arginine→nitric oxide→vessel dilation

On the wording. Language throughout is held at the strength the manufacturers use: “associated with”, “potential effects”, “may improve”. These are cosmetics and food supplements, not medicines, and EU health-claim rules do not permit hardening that language.

Creams and sprays

Applied ten to twenty minutes before. The full topical range, straight from the catalogue.

Capsules

Taken daily. Smaller packs exist so you can start without committing.

The same capsule in three pack sizes. Set out per capsule, because that is the only number that lets you compare them.

A note on the claims. Only zinc and selenium carry authorised EU health claims; the rest are traditional or manufacturer associations and are labelled as such. Amounts per serving are not in the catalogue feed and would need to come from the product data sheets before this table goes live.

Questions we get most.

01Which route should I start with?

If the problem is specific evenings, start topical. You will know within one use. If it is more general, start with a small capsule pack and give it four to eight weeks. There is nothing wrong with running both.

02How long before capsules do anything?

They are cumulative, so think in weeks rather than evenings. The smallest pack exists so you can test tolerance rather than effect; judging the effect needs a larger pack and consistency.

03Is this the same as prescription medication?

No. Everything here is a cosmetic or a food supplement, not a medicine. If erections have changed suddenly or persistently, that is worth a GP conversation. It can be an early marker of cardiovascular or metabolic issues, and no cream addresses that.

04Can I use a cream and capsules together?

They work by different routes, so there is no interaction between them. Read both labels, and check with a pharmacist if you take nitrates or blood-pressure medication, since arginine acts on the same pathway.

05How discreet is delivery?
